Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American actor and model best known as the actress of Mystique as the protagonist from the first of three episodes of X-Men. Romijn played a role in the Marvel superhero 'The Punisher,' where she was portrayed by 'Joan. Romijn started her career as a professional model, and was employed by companies including Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. She spent a decade modeling for fashion houses of the big leagues and later quit that line of profession to concentrate on her acting career.
